Job Description
Ventia are hiring a full time permanent Telepower/Telecommuncations Technician to work in our Telco sector on the ICF fibre network. This is a onceinalifetime project upgrading the national intercity network with advanced optic fibre cables. You will be required to travel regularly across Metro & Regional NSW. Travel may involve working away from home (overnight stays & remote travel).

What youll be doing:
- Based in within our ICF (InterCity Fibre network) new shelters and exchanges division
- Work on Small to Large DC power systems Solar Power systems Industrial AC including EPP install and Telecommunications alarm telephony
- Providing full construction activities on a range of equipment
What were looking for:
- Telecommunications experience is essential. If youre a Labourer or Trades Assistant or similar with Telco experience we can provide training
- Although this is working in the electrical space an electrical licence is not essential.
- CPR LVR & First Aid qualifications are mandatory
- Confined Space Working at Heights/tech Rigging Hoist/Lifting are all desirable
