Job Description

Job Title: Inventory Management Support C

Job Code: 22851

Job Location: Fort Wayne IN

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing and distribution of materials parts supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of received goods rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
  • Holds ability to handle items (up to 35 lbs. utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks height adjustable carts etc. and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling.

  • Attention to detail accuracy.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fastpaced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience working in a warehouse and/or production stockroom environment
  • HazMat certification a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with MS Office applications specifically Excel Outlook and Word
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools
  • Organizational skill
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Top Secret clearance familiar with SCIF protocol a plus
