The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on relevant experience and geographic location.
What the Role Is
The customer service representative position is responsible for providing customer service assistance to customers via chat or phone calls. This is a pivotal position for the organization. The customer service representative will help assist our customer base within all markets and in a wide range of areas within the company. We are looking for a selfdriven individual with a cool head during problem solving. Along with someone that has learned the right characteristics to show empathy to all our customers. If this sounds like you I highly recommend you join the team. This position is reports to the Director of Customer Service.
What Youll Be Doing
(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Takes inbound calls from customers
- Engages in chat conversations with customers
- Determines/understands customers needs with strong objection/response handling.
- Manages customer queries/complaints.
- Explains the services available
- Processes customer refunds orders and payments.
- Maintains customer database: updates data and makes necessary changes.
- Research and resolve customer disputes
- Assists with month end processes
- Matches invoices to customer vouchers/purchase orders/invoices
- Assist with inventory control
- Encourages customers to purchase additional products.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Partners with members of other departments to provide support
- Other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Experience in call center customer service
- Experience with ticketing system customer service
- Sales experience in a fastpaced environment
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fastpaced outdoor environment
- Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside and adapt to various weather conditions
Work Environment
- Team Collaboration: Frequent interaction and collaboration with colleagues and customers
- FastPaced: High pace especially during peak hours
- Customer Interaction: Regular engagement with customers
Physical Activity
- Prolonged periods of sitting
- Manual dexterity to operate keyboard mouse and other office equipment
- Occasionally may need to lift or move items up to 15 pounds
