You will assist the Facilities Manager in overseeing the Engineering Department to ensure proper maintenance of all buildings and facilities and coordination of the daytoday operations of the Engineering Department.
The Position:
Assist the Facility Manager in the supervision of the Engineering Team and provide appropriate work allocation advice direction and quality checks for completed work.
Completion of works within trade qualification (electrical hydraulic mechanical refrigeration or other relevant)
Assist with the management of work orders.
Assist the Facility Manager with projects.
Ensure technical completion of Facility Caregivers and Contractors work requisitions in computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Maintenance of essential and nonessential equipment and emergency systems including emergency lights standby generating sets fire alarm system duress system etc.
Monitor Building Management System (BMS).
Supervise and assist Contractors.
Assist with the development of maintenance programs.
Assist with monitoring the training needs of the Department.
Management of capital work programs as required.
Assist contractors where required with expertise or manual duties
You will have trade qualification in electrical hydraulic mechanical refrigeration or relevant fields and sound knowledge of buildings building practices and services and Australian Standards.
To succeed you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to relate to others in a professional manner both in written and spoken capacities
along with demonstrated management and leadership skills.

The Benefits:
Salary: $70855 to $86453 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 11.5 superannuation
Permanent full time position available.
