SSCSutter Senior CarePosition Overview:
Transports patients visitors employees personnel and supplies to and from facilities in a safe and courteous manner. Performs daily and preventive maintenance on vehicles including keeping vehicle filled with gas and checking oil. Prioritizes and coordinates multiple transportation requests while still providing timely transport service between facilities. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient their family/support group and other healthcare providers through competent job performance attentive monitoring and care and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations codes policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.Job Description:

Will be required to pass an FMCSAFederal Motor Carrier Safety Administration of Department of Transportation physical
DLValid Drivers License Commercial (A B or C) Passenger Endorsed License (if hired prior to 01/22/2024 must meet within 6 months)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1 year recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of patient transport policies and procedures and a basic understanding of vehicle operations and maintenance.
Keen problem solving ability; comfortable performing in unforeseen scenarios and quickly changing from one task to another.
Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members supervisors patients and other hospital personnel.
Welldeveloped time management and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Work independently as well as be part of the team including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
Ensure the privacy of each patients protected health information (PHI).
Build collaborative relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $23.01 to $27.61 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
