Job Description
Job Title: Permitting Specialist
We are currently seeking experienced Permitting Specialists based in the Philadelphia market with a hybrid office/remote work schedule.Ideal candidates should be detailed oriented be able to research state and local permit requirements able to interpret and apply permit regulations research and solve complex problems extensive experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure permit approval.

We are currently seeking experienced Permitting Specialists based in the Philadelphia market with a hybrid office/remote work schedule.Ideal candidates should be detailed oriented be able to research state and local permit requirements able to interpret and apply permit regulations research and solve complex problems extensive experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure permit approval.
- This role involves preparing and submitting permit applications securing entitlements managing jointuse programs and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and policies.
- The individual will interface with various authorities maintain tracking systems manage records and support financial and vendor management tasks.
- Assist with all aspects of preparing and submitting permits.
- Secure entitlements for installations in public rights of way utility easements DOT standards and private property.
- Engage with municipal county and state authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain and update tracking systems accurately including thirdparty management systems.
- Develop and maintain accurate complete project and program files.
- Create and maintain permit records including inspections permitting billings policies and code compliance verification.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers to foster positive jointuse cooperation and collaboration.

- Communicate coordinate and follow up with Engineering and Operations personnel to identify the need for jointuse notifications.
Requirements
- Strong ability to communicate effectively.
- Customerfocused and resultsdriven approach.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
