Senior Solutions recognized as a 2025 Best Places to Work awardee is seeking a skilled enthusiastic and experienced Technology Specialist to enhance and expand the agencys technical infrastructure and information systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding customer service critical thinking and problemsolving abilities. Position Summary Under the supervision of the Communications Director the Technology Specialist oversees the management maintenance and optimization of the organizations databases and provides technical support to agency employees. The Technology Specialist will use their technical expertise to ensure that the databases employed by the agency are utilized in an efficient accurate and timely manner. The Technology Specialist will ensure data accuracy reporting efficiency and strategic use of information. They shall also compile maintain and report service data and key business metrics for federal state public and private funders for internal and external use. Customer service technical issue troubleshooting and resolution and frequent collaboration with our thirdparty IT provider are key components of this position. This is a fulltime position primarily located in our main office in Springfield VT with occasional travel to the agencys satellite offices in Windsor and Brattleboro Vermont. Essential Functions of Position - Provide support for the management of the CRM databases including PeerPlace WellSky Bamboo Health Brite Systems a proposed new platform from state in 2026 and any other databases as assigned for the organization. Assure accurate and updated maintenance of data including but not limited to client demographics and services provided by various Senior Solutions programs.
- Install and manage hardware and software including necessary updates and maintain the agencys inventory of technology
- Ensure data integrity security and consistency implementing best practices for recordkeeping .
- Work with the Communications Director to generate and prepare both standard and custom reports for local state and federal agencies and funding sources. Work with leadership to meet all reporting deadlines.
- Evaluate data collection tools and facilitate the daily workflows maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Senior Solutions network.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and organizational regulations related to client data (e.g. HIPAA state privacy laws). Work with IT or external vendors to implement security measures data backups and system updates.
- Stay updated on best practices in data management data analysis and database software improvements.
- Train end users in the use of equipment and software. Manage Microsoft 365 logins and accounts. Manage Avaya the agency phone system.
- Train new staff in data reporting requirements and in data systems. Setup user login information and secure licenses as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user devices data platforms and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization including the satellite offices.
- Perform analytical technical and administrative work in the planning and installation of new and workstations and provide support for staff to install various apps on their personal devices that are needed for agency work.
- Work closely with external vendors who provide support for agency data and IT systems.
- Run ad hoc and special reports as requested.
- Work with Salesforce Administrator to produce town funding reports and requests

- Understand the impact and importance of database management and potential effect on data.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment with all staff managers and outside contacts
Education Experience & Qualifications - College degree in computer science information technology or equivalent.
- 35 years of database administration and information technology support
- Experience with CRM management preferably in Human Services
- Experience working in state and federal data reporting systems
- Skilled in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- A valid drivers license clean driving record and access to reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel within southeastern Vermont are required.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- With supervisor approval after a probationary period the position may be eligible for partial telecommuting.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
