The Opportunity
As an Assistant Manager Zabbix you will be essential in designing developing and maintaining monitoring solutions using Zabbix 7.2. You will oversee the implementation of Zabbix best practices and provide guidance to the team while ensuring efficient operation of monitoring systems collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance performance and reliability.
DaytoDay Responsibilities
- Zabbix Configuration and Management:Develop and implement Zabbix monitoring solutions; configure Zabbix servers agents and proxies; optimize and troubleshoot Zabbix installations.
- System Development:Design and implement custom monitoring templates dashboards and alerts; integrate Zabbix with other tools; develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python and Bash.
- Team Leadership and Assistance:Oversee junior developers and provide mentorship; act as a point of contact for Zabbixrelated queries.
- Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation; generate reports on monitoring metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaboration:Work with IT teams to align monitoring strategies; participate in project meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with Zabbix features and propose enhancements for monitoring efficiency.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion cando attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- 36 years of experience with Zabbix specifically version 7.2 or later.
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role is preferred.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Zabbix installations.
- Familiarity with SQL databases network troubleshooting and scripting languages (Bash Python).
- Strong problemsolving abilities and good communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Zabbix certification and experience with cloud monitoring solutions.
