Job Description:
- Using MILSTD461G and RTCA DO160 to determine aircraft EMI/EMC electronic systems compatibility
- Perform HIRF HighIntensity Radiated Field analysis Lightning analysis TEMPEST analysis to determine feasibility of aircraft design within time and cost constraints
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
- Select equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
- Perform simulations/tests and present data to peer engineers or customers
- Use test equipment to analyze/verify hardware designs
EMI/EMC Engineering
- EMI/EMC Aircraft/Device testing and evaluation based on MILSTD461G and RTCA DO160 requirements
- Familiarity with the concept of TEMPEST requirements and testing
- Determine testing approaches and parameters. Analyze data to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Analyze equipment to establish operating parameters conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
Qualifications:
- Pursuing bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience with RF design Antenna theory
- Knowledge of Network Analyzers Spectrum Analyzers signal generators
- Excellent communication technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
