Westland Construction is a leading commercial construction company known for delivering highquality innovative building solutions. We are seeking a motivated and goaloriented Business Development Manager to help drive our growth by identifying new opportunities cultivating relationships and expanding our footprint in the commercial construction space.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of construction experience who is looking to step into a highimpact role with room to grow. You ll work closely with our Executive VP gaining handson mentorship and insight into the business development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities in commercial construction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients architects developers and other key partners
- Support the preparation of proposals presentations and project pursuits
- Represent Westland Construction at industry events networking opportunities and client meetings
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business
- Collaborate with the Executive VP and other internal teams to align business development strategies with company goals
- Track market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic growth opportunities
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in business development sales or clientfacing roles (experience in the construction industry strongly preferred)
- Willingness and ability to learn about construction services and industry best practices
- Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills
- Selfstarter with a high level of initiative and a resultsdriven mindset
- Ability to think strategically and critically to support longterm planning and decisionmaking
