Job Description
Job Title: Chemistry Teacher
Reports to: School Principal/Science Department Head
Job Summary:
Were seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join our science faculty. The successful candidate will teach chemistry to students of various ages and skill levels developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach chemistry to students of various ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
3. Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
4. Assess student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate chemistry with other science disciplines.
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field.
2. Teaching certification or license (if applicable).
3. Proven experience in teaching chemistry (preferably in a school setting).
4. Strong knowledge of chemistry subject matter and curriculum standards.
5. Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with projectbased learning and handson activities.
2. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
3. Certification in chemistry education or a related field.
Working Hours:
Fulltime position following the schools academic calendar.
