Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Senior Journey Specialist for a renowned luxury property group with offices based in Johannesburg or Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a detailoriented servicedriven professional with a strong background in luxury travel planning and a deep understanding of the Southern and East African travel landscape.
Manage and complete booking confirmations
Provide continuous support and clear communication to the Operations Specialist
Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders understanding business trends and guest expectations
Represent the company on familiarization trips as required to strengthen relationships and product knowledge
Maintain strong supplier relationships using indepth knowledge to benefit all parties
Ensure accuracy in booking details and maintain financial integrity across reservations
Qualifications:
Matric certificate with Mathematics (minimum standard grade or above)
Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum 4 5 years in a senior role within the inbound travel industry
Proven experience in guest journey planning client relationship management and product development
Indepth knowledge of Southern and East Africa
Experience with TourPlan WETU or similar booking systems
Skills & Attributes:
Highly organized detailoriented and processdriven
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
Problemsolving mindset with the ability to prioritize without compromising accuracy
Financial acumen and ethical selfmotivated work approach
Committed to delivering exceptional service and managing time effectively
