Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Sous Chef for a luxury private wildlife reserve located in the stunning Kalahari. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to work in a remote breathtaking setting while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation
Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and consistency
Assist in the planning and of seasonal diverse menus
Oversee kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily operations in the kitchen
Manage stock control orders and kitchen hygiene standards
Ensure compliance with health safety and food safety regulations
Step up in the absence of the Head Chef and take initiative when needed
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Formal culinary training and qualifications preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Passion for producing highquality fresh and creative dishes
MUST have a valid driver s license
Willingness to live and work in a remote location on a fulltime livein basis
