Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Mechanical Engineer Parts and Projects
In this role The team developing industry leading Xray tubes for clinical applications is looking for highly motivated Mechanical Engineers to join them to enhance the quality & performance of Xray tubes.
Mechanical Engineer will be working on fixture design and testing of Xray tube subassemblies to enhance robustness and performance.
Responsibilities
Skills/Tasks requirements
Mechanical design utilizing Creo / Windchill.
Simulation / analysis (Creo / Ansys FEA stack up analysis) and testing in the lab.
Design optimization & improvement for reducing cost increasing yield and enhancing performance & reliability.
Engineering Change control
Rapid prototyping
Design verification.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering (with a focus on hardware)
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience in Medical systems / Mechanical engineering industry
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Hardware engineering areas
Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Tools/Technologies
Experience with 3D CAD System CREO/Windchill
Familiarity with engineering analysis & simulation tools like Ansys
Strong analytical mathematical and problemsolving skills
