Your new role
Youll be the driving force in investigating and resolving claims quickly and efficiently while handling a diverse international portfolio across the UK Australia Canada Israel and Dubai. Main responsibilities:
Ensure that messages advice and correspondence are responded to proactively and within agreed timeframes to provide a professional service to brokers and clients.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and authority limits while managing claims.
Identify and investigate coverage issues to ensure that the companys liability is in line with its contractual commitments.
Reserve accurately to ensure that the Companys liability is always clear.
Proactively manage estimates and billings calculated by clients service providers and brokers resolving any discrepancies.
Manage disputed Claims and other material Claims issues in order to resolve and settle claims on an economic basis.
Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.
About you
In this role youll need experience in handling Medical Malpractice Healthcare Product Liability or Life Sciences claimswhether from a claimant or defendant background or within the Healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have great negotiation skills the ability to build lasting relationships and a drive for success.
Other skills youll need:
Ability to make balanced and impartial judgements.
Current knowledge of compliance regulatory and statutory requirements.
Organisational investigative analytical and presentation skills
Coaching and mentoring skills
Able to use MS Office applications and strong IT skills
