Reporting to the Vice President of Performance Excellence and partnering with the Chief Operating Officer Chief Nurse Executive Chief Clinical Officer and other hospital administrators to analyze monitor modify and enhance (PDCA) 247 performance of key operational areas including but not limited to systemwide patient visits admissions logistics throughput delays cancellations transfer coordination etc. Works with colleagues to align strategic objectives with departmental operations. Partners with identified departmental leadership including but not limited to Care Management Social Work Logistics Capacity Management Nursing Emergency Department T3 Transfer Center and administrative / physician leadership systemwide to manage length of stay and maximize patient flow efficiency. Provides direct feedback to Vice President of Performance Excellence Chief Operating Officer Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Clinical Officer. Partners with campus leaders to expand capacity to manage surge capacity. Leads performance management analysis within defined areas of responsibility. Has a business and clinical focus and works to collaborate with key referral sources to ensure a seamless process for referrals.Education
Bachelors Degree: Nursing Health Administration or health care related field of study (Required)
Masters Degree: Nursing Health Administration or Business with a focus on healthcare management or related field (Preferred)
Experience
5 Years experience in a supervisory or administrative position in a clinical setting (Required)
3 Years experience managing patient flow logistics and nursing in a hospital setting (Required)
Previous experience managing patient placement/ logistics center (Required)
License/Certifications
RNLIC PA Registered Nurse License (Preferred)
