Perkins Coie is seeking a private investment funds associate to join its Financial Regulations group in the New York office. Experience in the following areas is desired: 1 Structuring and formation of private equity funds venture capital funds or hedge funds including drafting of fund documents; 2 Negotiation with limited partners on behalf of fund sponsors; 3 Review of subscription documents; 4 Representation of private or institutional investors in their investments into private investment funds; 5 Structuring general partner and management companies; 6 Working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Candidates should have solid academic credentials and at least 3 years of experience. To be considered please provide your cover letter resume law school transcript and list of representative transactions. Principals only.
Compensation range: $260000 to $390000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
