Young Peoples Prevention Support Worker (Turnaround)

Salary:per annum

Grade D

1 Year Fixed Term Contract

37 Hours per Week

The successful applicant will be based in the Youth Offending Team and will be responsible for providing direct support to young people who are at risk of offending behaviour and entering the criminal justice system.

This role will involve working face to face with children whilst working together with childrens services schools and relevant partners to deliver effective support and interventions for young people and their families.

The role is funded by the Ministry of Justice Turnaround Programme and the successful applicant must have a proven record of engaging with hard to reach children and an understanding of the youth justice system.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
