The Sous Chef at Migis Lodge will assist the Executive Chef (EC) to oversee allaspects of the Migis Lodge kitchen operation in particular inventory controlfood purchasing sourcing ingredients supplies and equipment as well asassuring that standards for every item served are understood and implementedefficiently by kitchen staff. The Sous chef will assume the majority of responsibility for training of kitchen staff andfood preparation. They will be tasked with responsibilities of both time cooking and prepping food as wellas the Management items listed. This is a leadership position where he or shewill work closely with the EC and on an equivalent level with the pastry chef and other department heads to provide an excellent and memorabledining experience. Hours: Fulltime
Compensation: $23$28 per hour (depending on experience) additionalincentive payment of 7 total wages.
Seasonal Position:May through October 2025
Start date: Early May 2025

Experience: Previous kitchen or culinary experience required.

Our kitchen staff usually includes a breakfast cook several line cooks a rounds cook a daily cookout cook a Garde Manger 5 prep cooks a Kitchen Steward and an assortment of dishwashers.
