Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and creative Data Visualization Specialist to join our team remotely. Youll play a key role in transforming complex data sets into compelling interactive and easily digestible visual stories that drive decisionmaking and communication across the organization. Ideal candidates blend technical knowhow with design sensibility and are excited about making data come alive for internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Storytelling & Visualization
Design and develop engaging static and interactive visualizations dashboards and infographics using tools such as Tableau Power BI Looker or Plotly.
Translate raw datasets into meaningful narratives and visuals for presentations reports and web use.
Collaborate with data analysts subjectmatter experts and stakeholders to understand key insights and determine the best visual approach.
Dashboard Design & Reporting
Build and maintain custom dashboards and reporting tools tailored to enduser needs.
Optimize dashboards for performance clarity and responsiveness.
Support version control documentation and consistency of visual output.
Data Structuring & Quality Control
Prepare and clean data for visualization using SQL Python R or Excel.
Ensure accuracy integrity and accessibility of visualized data.
Conduct peer reviews and testing to verify dashboard outputs and calculations.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in data visualization business intelligence or data analysis roles.
Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling with data.
Proficiency in one or more tools: Tableau Power BI Looker Google Data Studio Highcharts etc.
Experience querying data using SQL and working with structured and semistructured datasets.
Ability to balance aesthetics and clarity in visual design.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style.
