Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Front Office Manager the Guest Services Supervisoris responsible for providing guidance for the Guest Services team for our Revelstoke properties while ensuring the highest level of customer service for our guests. The Guest Services Supervisor is alsoresponsible for daily check in and out procedures handling guest inquiries and providing basic concierge services.
Wage: $20$21
Fulltime/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to team members and assist when needed.
- Daily management of reservations and virtual checkin prearrival duties including payment processing online registration verification damage deposits.
- Actively engage and build positive relationships with all guests coworkers and management.
- Field guest complaints and inquiries while developing and negotiating the most effective solutions within the parameters outlined by the Front Office Manager.
- Complete daily check lists and clearly communicate through daily pass on with colleagues and with Front Office Manager.
- Always promote a positive image of Basecamp Property Management Ltd.
- Fulfill all other assigned tasks as per the request of Front Office Manager and Regional General Manager.
- Inperson checkins and checkouts of hotel guests.
- Complete daily administrative tasks while handling guest interactions via inperson phone email internal emessaging 3rd party messaging.
- Facilitate dining reservations for Rhythm & Howl and ensure any dietary information and special requests are communicated to the F&B team.
- Provide basic concierge services such as 3rd party attraction bookings and other similar reservations.
- Work with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and total room inventory is accurately reflected.
- Act as a Lobby Ambassador during peak business levels to ensure a seamless and memorable experience forall guests.
Requirements
- 12 years of previous experience in an elevated setting is preferred but not required.
- Hotel PMS experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Webrez Pro is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and organize.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Take initiative in solving problems.
- Peopleforward mentality with a cando attitude.
