Grocery Merchandiser & Stock Clerk
Full Time
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio were hiring for key positions to begin training at our existing stores! This is a unique opportunity to get a head start gain handson experience and be a part of the foundation for our newest location. Do you have a knack for details and a passion for great food If so the DLM Grocery department might be your next great adventure. DLMs centerstore is an exciting gourmet experience from the finest imported olive oils to our highquality private label products. Were looking for a selfmotivated associate who can provide superior customer service as well as help merchandise exciting displays order product unload trucks and stock shelves. As part of the team youll have the opportunity to learn about and taste exciting products from all over the world.
Applicants should be able to effectively communicate delegate and prioritize tasks. Prior experience in customer service is required and previous merchandising and stock experience is a plus.
Training for this position will take place at one or more of our existing stores and will require a variety of shifts to start.
What Youll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist Grocery Manager with ordering and managing inventory
- Create and manage eyecatching displays
- Effectively communicate with associates and vendors
- Stock and rotate inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and HardWorking
- A good working understanding of DLMs operations and a passion for our company culture
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong proactive problemsolving skills
- Strong phone etiquette and computer skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous merchandising experience is a plus
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety
- 18 years old or older
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Ability to use the electric jack and other power equipment
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally
