Job title: On Site Commercial Underwriter
Salary: 55000
Location: Fieldbased Hampshire Dorset & Wiltshire (Must hold a UK driving license)
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are partnering with a leading insurance company to hire an experienced Commercial Underwriter. You will support their broker team with regular travel to broker sites. This homebased role includes a company car or car allowance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist clients in the South to ensure success
- Underwrite new and existing commercial business across various trades
- Evaluate and negotiate commercial insurance for large accounts
- Work with specialists to create strong customerfocused solutions
- Help maximise profits and improve performance through guidance and support to drive growth
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Min 35 years of Underwriting experience
- Skilled at building effective relationships with clear and impactful communication
- Demonstrated success in achieving favourable outcomes through negotiation
- Proven expertise in handling complex and technical commercial cases
