Lawyer/Senior Associate 48PQE) Corporate M&A and Capital Markets
The role
Working with Partners Jonathan Algar and Stuart Byrne an exceptional opportunity exists for you to join Clayton Utz in our Corporate M&A and Capital Markets team. We are open to considering an experienced Lawyer 4PQE) or Senior Associate for this role.
In this role you will work on Australian and crossborder corporate transactions involving equity raisings including IPOs takeovers mergers & acquisitions and ASX listing rules governance strategic and board advice across a range of industry sectors.
You will have significant exposure to clients playing a leading role on key aspects of transactions including negotiations drafting and team supervision.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
48 years experience post qualification experience within a distinguished corporate law practice;
Equity capital markets experience advantageous;
The ability to play a lead role on transactions and drive matters forward;
Strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;
Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; and
A passion for mentoring junior lawyers and providing timely feedback to aid their development.
