Job Description

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Finacle Product Engineer with extensive experience in the Finacle Core Banking product (Infosys/Edgeverve). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Finacle architecture customization layers and interfacing requirements. This role involves direct interaction with clients ensuring quality technical and application architecture and driving improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finacle Product Expertise:

    • Understand and utilize Finacle Product Architecture & Customization layers.
    • Handle Finacle customization flow including new custom menus reports (MRT & Jasper) batch jobs product menu customization FI and EODBOD processes.
  • Interfacing Requirements:

    • Manage Finacle Interfacing requirements (Custom and Product APIs/Connect 24/Finacle Integrator).
    • Enhance and debug Finacle Integrator and related processes.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Ensure quality of technical and application architecture across the organization.
    • Research and benchmark technology against bestinclass technologies.
    • Influence multiple teams on technical considerations increasing productivity and effectiveness.

Technical Skills:

Categorywise:

  • Product Architecture:

    • Good understanding of Finacle Product Architecture & Customization layers.
  • Customization Flow:

    • Experience with Finacle customization flow (new custom menus reports batch jobs product menu customization FI EODBOD processes debugging).
  • Database Management:

    • Expertise in Oracle (SQL PL/SQL Stored Procedures Triggers Functions) related to Finacle application.
    • Experience with Finacle scripting Unix shell scripting and report designing.
  • Integration:

    • Good understanding of Finacle Integrator and feasible enhancements.

Functional Skills:

  • Core Banking Knowledge:

    • Strong knowledge of Finacle Core Banking functionalities and banking domain terminologies.
  • Certification:

    • Finacle certification from Infosys is an added advantage.
  • Modules:

    • Knowledge of Finacle CRM and Admin modules (FINFADM/SSOADM).
  • Best Practices:

    • Experience in following best coding security unit testing and documentation standards.
  • Methodologies:

    • Experience in Agile methodology.

DaytoDay Activities:

  • Implementing Finacle customizations and managing interfacing requirements.
  • Interacting directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices in coding security unit testing and documentation.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams to enhance productivity and technical considerations.
  • Researching and benchmarking technology against bestinclass standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of product experience in Finacle Core Banking product (Infosys/Edgeverve).

  • Influence and Collaboration:

    • Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations increasing their productivity and effectiveness.
    • Ability to own and drive tasks without supervision and work collaboratively across the organization.
  • Communication:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
  • Initiative:

    • Selfmotivator and selfstarter with the ability to work independently.
