We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer to support our business growth and transition plans. This role is a customerfacing technical lead position responsible for designing implementing and managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions for newly onboarded customers and facilitating additional service requirements for existing customers.

The ideal candidate will work closely with presales operations and project management teams to deliver cloud solutions while also contributing to the ongoing development efficiency and security of our Managed Services capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Solution Implementation & Delivery

• Act as the primary implementation engineer for all newly won Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 hosting contracts.
• Lead Azurebased infrastructure deployments including virtual machines networking identity & access management and platform services.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 tenant migrations onboarding and security best practices for Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Implement Windows Server and SQL Server workloads in Azure ensuring high availability performance and security.
• Ensure seamless project by working closely with presales project managers and other stakeholders.

2. PreSales & Customer Engagement

• Collaborate with presales and sales teams to provide deep technical expertise during customer engagements.
• Assist in solution design scoping and customer proposals ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers guiding them through best practices in Azure adoption security and cost optimization.

3. Managed Services & Operational Excellence

• Develop and maintain a scalable secure and costeffective multitenant management framework for Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Configure and optimize Entra ID Conditional Access Defender for Cloud and security baselines to ensure strong governance and compliance across all customer and internal management environments.
• Oversee cost management monitoring and automation tools to improve operational efficiency across Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Provide escalationlevel support and advanced troubleshooting for complex cloud issues affecting existing Managed Services customers.
• Take part in the oncall rota system to provide outofhours support for critical incidents in customer infrastructure where required.

4. Security Compliance & Best Practices

• Implement Microsoft Partner best practices such as Azure Lighthouse and Microsoft GDAP to enhance security cost management and compliance.
• Configure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) rolebased access control (RBAC) and conditional access policies to secure cloud environments.
• Ensure adherence to CIS benchmarks Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and WellArchitected Framework.

Skills Knowledge and Experience:

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of handson experience in designing implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Deep expertise in Azure IaaS & PaaS including virtual machines networking (VPNs ExpressRoute NSGs) storage and backup solutions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations onboarding and security configurations.
• Expertise in Windows Server (AD GPO DNS DHCP) and SQL Server administration in cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure security governance and compliance (Defender for Cloud Sentinel Conditional Access PIM).
• Familiarity with cost management and Azure Lighthouse for multitenant environments.
• Experience with PowerShell and automation tools (e.g. Azure Automation Logic Apps Infrastructure as Code) is a plus.
