Job Description & Summary

A career in our Financial Services Tax practice within Corporate Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Youll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis managing working capital and profit sharing for partners. Youll also help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.

Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements management of operational tax risks and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. Youll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world both locally and globally.

  • Support leadership in managing BU level operations and executing firms strategic decisions.
  • Perform Manager review on US Partnership Tax returns RIC Compliance and Provisions .
  • Be a market lead and help to run the day to day operations for their respective markets.
  • Ability to share real time feedback to foster continuous development within the market team.
  • As a market lead work with the respective team to reduce time variances and be compliant on charging time accurately.
  • Seek opportunities for additional scope and business expansion for their respective market.
  • Developing experienced managers to grow up the ladder by delegation of work and guidance.
  • Participate in performance evaluation of their respective span as RL.
  • Help team members from their respective Span to achieve organizational level goals.
  • Seek more opportunity of doing a senior manager/ concur review before it goes to Partners/ Director.
  • Root Cause Analysis for any feedback received from engagement teams or markets.
  • Coordinate and attend delivery driver calls work closely with them and develop rapport.
  • Making sure that QMS policies and procedures are implemented and followed across all clients within their market.
  • Active participation in FS weekly Senior Manager calls and discuss opportunities/ Challenges.
  • Analysis of forecast v/s actual hours report on weekly basis and follow up with ET.
  • Collaborate as a point of contact from FS and work with SPOCs from other BUs and OUs.
  • Work closely with OU Lead for implementing strategies and overall development plan for the OU.
  • Leading Engagement management and getting involved in Planning Budgeting Billing with US Partners/ Directors.
  • Identifying overall OU level Forecast Resourcing and hiring plan.
  • Liaison with HC Recruitment Admin Independence IT and Finance teams.

  • 10 years of experience in the AWM industry.

  • Skill Set required : Federal/SALT/RE/Hedge Funds/BCM/Insurance/1120 RIC.

  • Graduation in commerce / Post graduation in Accounting and Finance.

  • Ability to manage larger teams.

  • Ability to manage conflicts.

  • Ability to handle escalations.

  • Ability to develop business and foster relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures opportunities.

  • As a Relationship Leader focusing on team progression and guiding team members to take ownership of their career development will be a part of your role.
