Hearing and Speech Nova Scotia (HSNS) provides audiology services to Nova Scotians of all ages and speechlanguage pathology services to preschool children and adults. HSNS is funded by the NS Government to deliver integrated and standardized provincial services across 37 clinical sites located in 26 communities. Nationally certified Audiologists and SpeechLanguage Pathologists with support from Communication Disorder Technicians and Administrative Support Professionals provide core services (prevention diagnosis and treatment) develop and monitor provincial clinical standards and collaborate with partners to deliver a number of special programs (e.g. Autism Stroke Cochlear Implant). Established in 1963 HSNS works to prevent and reduce the impact of communication disorders for Nova Scotians.

HSNS is accepting internal applications for the position of a regular fulltime 1.0 FTE) Audiology Team Lead. Reporting to the Director and in collaboration with HSNS management staff and external partners. The successful candidate will lead and support planning coordination and delivery of provincial audiology services.
Responsibilities in collaboration with HSNS management and staff include:
Assist with procurement rollout and training of capital equipment
Lead/participate in quality improvement initiatives
Provide parachute audiology services throughout Nova Scotia
Mentor and support staff
Identify and coordinate professional development opportunities
Collaborate with external partners
Cochair the Audiology Services meetings
