Our challenge

We are looking for a Presales candidate as a PreSales Intern the candidate will work closely with our sales and technical teams to support the sales process and help drive new business opportunities. Candidate will gain handson experience in various aspects of presales including customer engagement proposal development and market research.

Additional Information*

Paid Internship Opportunity pay rate will be $18/hour for a duration of approximately 12 weeks. Location: Charlotte NC.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:
    • Work alongside the sales team to qualify leads and develop solution proposals based on client needs.
    • Participate in discovery sessions and needs assessments to recommend appropriate IT solutions.
  • Solution Design & Proposal Preparation:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to design custom IT solutions including cloud services software applications IT infrastructure data management and cybersecurity.
    • Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations for Internal teams.
    • Participate in development of proposals including technical specifications project scope timelines and pricing models.
  • Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:
    • Gain a highlevel understanding of the companys product offerings and the IT services landscape.
    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT services industry.
  • RFP/RFI Responses:
    • Participate in the creation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
    • Ensure that all technical functional and business requirements are addressed in proposals and presentations.
  • Sales Support & Collaboration:
    • Support the sales team in building client relationships and closing deals.
    • Begin to understand and identify upsell and crosssell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Proof of Concept (POC):
    • Coordinate and assist with the development of Proof of Concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the viability and value of the proposed solution to clients.
    • Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth handoff of client requirements postsale.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Marketing Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to support decisionmaking.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
