We believe collaboration is key so our remotefirst teams and property leaders have biannual inperson gettogethers at various locations across the US.

From corporate nonproperty team members to our property teams and leaders were looking for collaborative driven individuals to join us as we continue to expand our presence.

The Impact Youll Have

The Director Real Estate Platform Partnerships(REPP) will be responsible for sourcing and closing thirdparty managed real estate inventory including full and partial building management of existing assets as well as groundup developments. This person will spend a large portion of their time networking to develop new relationships in their region that will allow them to find new deals. They will be an integral part of accelerating our growth and will utilize their previous expertise in hospitality/multifamily real estate to expand the Placemakr portfolio. The Director REPP will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Real Estate Partnerships.

This is a remote position with travel. The candidate must be located in the greater Miami/South Florida region.

What Youll Do

    • Grow new and build on existing partner relationships with national and regional real estate owners developers investors and lenders with a focus on the Miami/South Florida market
    • Leverage your existing network and actively source warm and cold introductions to expand Placemakrs portfolio
    • Prospect for Class A multifamily projects in submarkets with strong hospitality drivers in coordination with regional VP and strategy/feasibility team
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth targets and expand Placemakrs footprint
    • Represent Placemakr at industry conferences trade shows and networking events to promote the brand and identify potential partners
    • Lead the presentation of complex financial models to senior level real estate developers/investors as part of the sales and deal closing processes
    • Produce highvolume of quality management contracts under varying deal structures through wide reach of in market reach leading to viable and winnable deals
    • Successfully negotiate and close on thirdparty managed real estate inventory deals alongside VP of Real Estate Partnership and Placemakrs General Counsel
    • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including revenue sales and operations to ensure a seamless transition of new properties to our platform team
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

What it Takes

    • 3 years of experience in multifamily and/or hotel brokerage investment development or asset management with an established successful deal track record
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
    • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
    • Possess an existing multifamily network in the South Florida/Miami region
    • Proven ability to build a large network of senior contacts
    • Experience in a quotabearing or incentivebased role with an established successful deal track record
    • Ability to travel 3050 of the time based on business and deal needs
    • Ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively to internal and external parties
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and potentially lengthy sales processes and get deals to close
    • Selfstarter mentality and a thirst to learn quickly
    • Unwavering attention to detail and organization
    • Strong business writing and communication skills
