For more information about Human Resources please visit Duties Salary Information The salary ranges for the Analyst I/II classifications are: Analyst I: $89849.76 $109200.00 Analyst II: $98039.76 $119159.04 All ranges include an approximate five percent 5 ongoing nonpensionable pay. Actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates qualifications and experience. Position and Duties The Human Resources department is currently seeking to fill three 3 fulltime Analyst vacancies in the Employment Division. Employment Analysts are responsible for recruiting qualified applicants by developing and administering valid selection processes and for conducting classification projects such as individual position studies new job class development and class specification revision. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for human resources in the public sector. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with all City Departments and with other key stakeholders within the City of San Jose organizational structure and to represent the City to applicants employees and residents. Attention to detail a strong customer service perspective and critical thinking skills are crucial. These positions require creative thinkers who are willing to develop and implement strategies to meet department needs. This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions in this or other divisions or departments. Selection Process
