Assistant Bakery Manager
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio were hiring for key positions to begin training at our existing stores! This is a unique opportunity to get a head start gain handson experience and be a part of the foundation for our newest location. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our Bakery team! The DLM Bakeries feature wonderfully decadent desserts and traditional European breads all Made Right Here in the DLM Bakehouse. Our incredible teams work to deliver an exceptional shopping experience through expert product knowledge and outstanding customer service. In this role youll support department operations and team building by driving these standards.
The Assistant Bakery Manager must be flexible to work a mixture of morning and night shifts. Applicant must have strong communication skills excellent customer service and be energetic excited and eager to learn about the department and company. Applicants must also be able to prioritize tasks and delegate accordingly. Above all else were looking for someone who will lead by example and have a desire to serve those they lead.
Training for this position will take place at one or more of our existing stores.
What Youll Do:
- Assist in daytoday operations management of the Mason Bakery department.
- Provide expert customer service.
- Assist in training developing and educating our associates.
- Manage inventory ordering and shrink.
- Schedule labor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and HardWorking.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A good working understanding of DLMs operations and a passion for our company culture.
- Previous customer service and leadership experience.
- Organization skills.
- 18 years old or older.
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 40lbs.
