We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in helping our business leaders by identifying and delivering new business opportunities for TMobile and our customers. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated selfdriven professional with the ability to think broadly and strategically while bolstering TMobiles business and delivering results and recommendations to drive acquisition and partnership decisions. They will focus on creating and sustaining key partnerships for our loyalty program Magenta Status while collaborating with and supporting the overall vision of leadership. This position will work closely with the marketing partnership team to deliver brand partnerships that align with the marketing strategy focusing on customer needs for both nearterm and longterm goals.

*** This position must be located in Bellevue WA or Overland Park KS requiring at a minimum of 3 days a week in office.

Job responsibilities

  • Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic business and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution

  • Scout identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships

  • Lead seniorlevel relationships with internal customers and with key players in the mobile industry both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems

  • Develop deep domain expertise in sectors vital to TMobiles core strategy

  • Provide strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial customer and market opportunities key players and technologies potential business models TMobile fit etc. for a multitude of sectors and domains

  • Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities technologies business models etc to crossfunctional teams

  • Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field (Required)

  • Work Experience:

  • 7 years business development alliance management and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis (Required)

  • Experience in consumerfocused hightech (software internet/new media entertainment/content etc. or consumer electronics industries (Required)

  • Experience in a resultsdriven entrepreneurial work environment

  • Strong intuition for business with a constructive and proactive approach to problem solving

  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Broad industry experience and/or Telecommunications industry experience

  • Strong Negotiation skills incorporating overall business objectives in developing strategy and decisions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively present information to key partners

  • Tightknit collaboration skills with consistent track record to building trust through crossfunctional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals

  • Excellent judgment discretion with critical information mature personality and experience working and communicating with executives

  • Confident and experienced in Financial Analysis and proven financial competence

  • Highly motivated and selfdirected thrives while balancing multiple projects in a fastpaced results driven environment

Base Pay Range: $120500 $217400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
