Job Summary
Reporting to the Department Services Coordinator the Exam Proctor works with students registered through the Disability Services office. Responsibilities include checking students in and out of testing appointments covering the Testing Centers desk including greeting students faculty and answering calls. This is a shortterm casual position.
Job Duties
- 40 Serving as exam proctor and monitoring students test taking. Including tracking time and supervising exam sessions. (Essential)
- 30 Checking students in and out of appointments. Handling exams and required materials and monitoring the testing schedule. (Essential)
- 30 Managing the testing center and testing rooms. Communicating with faculty via email phone calls and inperson visits. (Essential)
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year experience performing clerical and administrative tasks (printing screening phone calls and greeting guests).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint) Google drives/folders/forms Adobe Acrobat Web Editing and social media applications or any combination of productivity programs applicable to position responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to be detailoriented and thorough; skilled at anticipating and preventing potential problems and handling a wide variety of tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong commitment to a quality work product.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally in writing and electronically. Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced in the ability to collaborate with a variety of constituencies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Background in education and working with students. Exam proctoring experience and experience working in higher education.
EXPECTED HIRING RANGE: $17.28/hr
