Americans For Prosperity Florida is looking for a passionate advocate for liberty to lead their grassroots staff as the Director of Grassroots Operations.
How You Will Contribute:
- Lead coach and mentor our team of fulltime and parttime staff as they recruit volunteers and mobilize their communities around AFPs objectives
- Oversee the states votercontact operations and efforts around policy goals
- Manage the state chapters relationships with internal and external partners
- Supervise the teams contractor recruitment strategy and implementation
What You Will Bring:
- Leadership skills! We need someone with strong supervising skills and the humility to embrace our growthfocused culture
- A passion for people the ability to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and an understanding of how to inspire and motivate them
- Organization skills and the ability to keep multiple events and activities on track for yourself and your team
- A valid drivers license to be able to travel to meet with people in your area and across the state as needed
- Enthusiasm to contribute to AFPs principled approach to solving problems and a commitment to stewardingour culturewhich champions values including transformation and innovation entrepreneurialism humility and respect
Standout Candidates Will Bring:
- Knowledge of the political economic and legislative landscape of Florida
- A background in grassroots activism political lobbying canvassing or campaign work
- Proven experience leading staff
