The Opportunity
An opportunity for a Liability Claims Officer to join our Property Damage Claims team delivering superior claims service to customers within the fasttrack property damage segment. You are selfmotivated with a keen attention to detail capable of maintaining high standards during times of change and resilient when facing challenges.
Your New Role
As a Liability Claims Officer your role is pivotal to the teams success proactively driving our claims philosophy and strategy and acting within legislative requirements to support the unit in achieving its targeted objectives.
The key responsibilities for this role include the following but not limited to:
Manage the claims process efficiently ensuring accurate and timely claim resolution.
Assess policy coverage and escalate issues as needed to ensure fair outcomes.
Build strong relationships with clients brokers investigators and other key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and industry standards.
Handle recoveries from third parties to maximise claim outcomes.
Conduct selfaudits of claims files to maintain high internal audit standards.
Respond to enquiries promptly professionally and in line with privacy guidelines.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in Property Damage & Liability Claims is preferred
Experience within the insurance industry
Basic knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes.
Strong organizational time management and communication skills to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent analytical negotiation and problemsolving abilities.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in alternative dispute resolution.
