Job Description

GA Telesis MRO Services Component Repair Group is committed to providing the most comprehensive aircraft maintenance repair overhaul and logistic support services to the commercial rotor and fixedwing aircraft markets. We are seeking an experiencedLanding Gear Technicianto join our awardwinning team with a focus on the building and teardown of various landing gears and components. Reporting to the Landing Gear Manager the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to perform highquality alterations.

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble clean and inspect landing gear components for wear corrosion or damage.
  • Utilize knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
  • Perform polishing honing and/or plating of various landing gear parts including cylinders pistons and bushings using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Measure components using micrometers calipers and other precision tools to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting component issues and recommend repair or replacement.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork including inspection records work orders and traceability logs.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
  • Minimum of high school diplomaor equivalent and 1yearof related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings manuals and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and Part 145 repair station requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
