Job Overview:
As the Food Safety Lead at ChickfilA Liberty you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and safe dining experience. Youll lead our team in upholding ChickfilAs renowned standards of excellence in food safety and cleanliness. Your dedication to maintaining a pristine environment will ensure we continue to deliver great food with care and remain a Guardian of the Brand.
Responsibilities
Champion a Culture of Food Safety and Cleanliness
Promote and model ChickfilAs food safety and cleanliness standards across all shifts and dayparts.
Collaborate with the leadership team to continually enhance food safety processes and team engagement.
Lead Compliance Checks and Audits
Conduct or oversee SAFE Daily Critical evaluations twice per day 12 total per week)
Complete weekly fullstore food safety audits and report results to the leadership team once per week
Perform equipment temperature checks and ensure accuracy and documentation
Prepare for and shadow quarterly EcoSure inspections
Shadow health inspections and provide followup action within 24 hours
Train all new hires on food safety and cleanliness standards during onboarding
Monitor food handler certifications and ensure 100 ServSafe Food Manager certification compliance
Lead SAFE CTEs at least twice per year
Team Development and Leadership
Recognize and reinforce team members who demonstrate REMARKable food safety habits
Provide onthespot coaching and constructive feedback to ensure constant improvement
Share weekly food safety focus points that support larger quarterly goals
Collaborate with kitchen and operations leaders to plan initiatives and communicate results
Cleaning Oversight and Strategic Scheduling
Maintain and manage a rotating weekly cleaning schedule across all food service areas
Develop and update a Master Cleaning Checklist to cover daily weekly monthly and quarterly needs
Support leadership in identifying process improvements related to cleanliness and food safety
Additional duties as needed
Participate in Restaurant Operations
Serve in position as a Team Member or Team Leader during each shift when not actively engaged in food safety tasks. This could involve any cooking related duty. This ensures full time hours are always met.
Support overall team success through strong handson leadership in assigned positions
Compensation
Pay ranges from $18$21/hour based on experience and availability
Fulltime (minimum of 37 hours per week) leadership role with visibility and growth opportunities
Automatic $.50 pay increases for every 1000 hours worked
Qualifications and Requirements
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Detailoriented and proactive mindset
Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification
Able to lift 1020 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Available to work up to 6 days/week (MonSat) if needed with a combination of AM and PM shifts
Experience in food service or food safety preferred but not required
Must be able to work in Liberty Missouri
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation
Must be 18 years or older
Must be dependable organized and a strong communicator
Must have knowledge of food safety standards and expectations
Must be interested in working in position in the kitchen when not needed in a food safety capacity

Score of 1 on EcoSure evaluations
Guardian of the Brand status 4 consecutive EcoSure scores of 1
100 SAFE Daily Check completion
2 SAFE CTEs annually
