Job Description

This is a remote position.

Charter Institute is seeking a detailoriented and motivated Technical Writer to join our team. In this role you will create clear and concise technical materials including equipment manuals operating instructions maintenance guides and appendices. You will work closely with senior writers and technical staff to ensure documentation meets quality standards and is accessible to the intended audience.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Computer Science or a related field.

Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.

Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in a clear and concise manner.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in using documentation tools and software such as Adobe FrameMaker MadCap Flare or similar.

Experience with API documentation is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience in the payments or fintech industry is a plus.
