Position Overview
Keep our communities fed.Our focus is simple but meaningful from our distribution centers to our offices every employee of C&S Wholesale Grocers/Hansen Distribution Group/Hawaiian Housewares LLC and their family of companies works to help feed local families neighbors and communities.
As a Driver you are responsible for safely delivering products to our customers. You will unload products to be received by the customer or check in products with the customer and invoice and address discrepancies. You may pick up products when returning to the warehouse. In this role you will complete a vehicle pretrip inspection record required truck information and load delivery equipment into the truck (Electric/Manual pallet jack..
Job Description
1st shift MondayFriday some weekends
Starting Pay: $24.50 per hour

You will Contribute By:
Complete vehicle pretrip inspection report. Records required truck information and needed repairs.
Safely drive Company vehicles to make deliveries to various customers around the island.
Load delivery equipment into the truck; may load products/pallets into the truck
Deliver products to customers. Unload products to be received by the customer or check in products with the customer with the invoice; address discrepancies.
Pick up customer payments as needed. Pick up products when returning to the facility as needed.
Upon returning to the facility: clean the truck submit signed invoices and product returns.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Drive a box truck type of vehicle to transport and deliver products
Average stops 1628 stops per day except for 2 days 5 stops only but heavy
Pallets can consist of all types of products
Maneuver the truck into the loading or unloading position
Weigh truck as needed en route and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations
Electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations
Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the trucks condition
Read the bill of lading to determine the assignment

Store: Freezer 20F to 0F)
Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse 28F to 60F)
Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse 50F to 90F)
Skills
Class C Drivers license with safe driving record minimum 1 year
Driving experience (preferably delivery driving)
