About the role

Enervens Transmission and Aerial Services team is responsible for the refurbishment maintenance and asset management of Substations and Transmission networks. The large majority of works are on the Electranet network; however we also have maintenance contracts across utilities mining and rail sectors.

As Operations Manager Transmission Maintenance & Aerial Services you will be responsible for the leadership of the Transmission Maintenance work group (including Transmission Powerline Workers and Asset Inspections Officers) and the Remotely Piloted Aircraft aerial services team. The safety of the people in your work groups will be your number 1 priority followed by managing operations in a way that minimises operating expense and maximises profit. You will build and maintain relationships with existing infrastructure customers to ensure ongoing business as well as play a critical role in developing new business.

Day to day you will:

• Ensure all maintenance activities on transmission system assets are delivered safely effectively and efficiently in accordance with approved work practices and requirements
• Support the continuous development of a strong positive and highperforming team culture
• Oversee the creation of detailed work plans
• Ensure compliance is maintained in all areas of delivery
• Apply a financial and commercial mindset to meeting business unit targets
• Oversee the management of critical defect events and client management
• Actively manage develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients
• Actively identify new business opportunities

The role will be based out of the Enerven Depot at Elizabeth with regular site visits across South Australia. Some interstate travel may also be required.
