The Night Shift Manager role for Cytiva is responsible for Leading directing and controlling the operations of a plant/facility to achieve the short and mediumterm financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan. The Night Shift Manager will be responsible for any of the following activities: manufacturing materials/planning quality control supply chain and logistics shipping/receiving distribution and facilities management. Typically will have responsibility for multiple activities.
This position is part of the Operations Team located in Newquay and will be based fully on site. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Stringently enforce Cytivas Health and Safety and Environmental policy.
Coordinate the companys Emergency procedures outside of core hours.
To be a point of escalation in event of quality or technical issue outside core hours to support the team to drive effective resolution
Support the teams in effective and structured problem solving to drive to root cause and implement effective countermeasures with urgency. Where necessary follow the escalation process.
Responsible for supporting Team Leaders to achieve their shift delivery targets
To ensure that employees are consistently following Cytivas policies and procedures.
To support DBS culture through leading and participating in continuous improvement events
Who you are:
Enthusiastic leader with experience in a highvolume manufacturing environment
DBS / Continuous improvement mindset
Effective communicator at all levels
Possesses experience in motivating and growing teams
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Previous experience working in a medical or pharmaceutical facility
If you have or are willing to work towards NEBOSH certificate
