Job Description
As a Senior Manager Product Operations in the Business Cards & Payments team at Capital One you will play a critical role in enabling our product teams to operate at their full potential. You will be responsible for identifying and solving operational challenges developing scalable tools and processes and driving efficiencies that empower our teams to focus on delivering exceptional products for our customers. This is a highimpact role that requires a strategic mindset analytical problemsolving skills and a passion for building and optimizing product operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Problem Solving & Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies and friction points in product development launch and operations and develop innovative solutions.
Work crossfunctionally to implement streamlined workflows that enable the team to move faster while maintaining high quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data and user feedback to optimize operational processes.
Building Scalable Tools & Frameworks
Design and implement internal tools dashboards and automation to enhance product team efficiency.
Develop frameworks and best practices that enable teams to execute with clarity and alignment.
Collaborate with engineering data and business teams to integrate technology solutions that improve team effectiveness.
CrossFunctional Collaboration &
Act as a strategic partner to product managers engineering design and business teams to remove roadblocks and ensure smooth .
Drive alignment across teams by facilitating communication documentation and decisionmaking processes.
Support product launches by ensuring operational readiness risk mitigation and compliance with business requirements.
Metrics & Insights
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
Conduct root cause analysis to proactively identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Develop reporting and analytics to provide visibility into product operations and inform strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strategic mindset with the ability to execute at a tactical level.
Experience working crossfunctionally with product engineering and business teams.
The ability to analyze data derive insights and make datadriven decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with automation and workflow optimization.
Strong problemsolving skills with a track record of building tools and processes that drive efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of experience in product operations product management or strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
7 years of experience in product operations or related roles
Experience in the financial services payments or business cards industry.
Proficiency in SQL Tableau JIRA Confluence or similar platforms.

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $170800 $194900 for Sr Manager Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
