Job Description
Our client in the steel services industry is seeking a Production Planning Controller to join them in Alberton. The successful incumbent will do overall supervision of the planners scheduling jobs and liaising with Manufacturing and Sales to ensure speedy delivery of products.
Duties & Responsibilities
Geographical area: Alberton Gauteng
Salary range: R 35000.00 R 45000.00 CTC pm
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Managing Planning Team
- Scheduling of planned jobs
- Monitor production lead times
- Ensuring planners process the correct stock to meet customer requirements
- Monitoring internal sales reports
- Resolving stock queries
- Monitoring incomplete schedule reports
- Planning KPIs
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Senior certificate(minimum)
Good communication Skills
Min 5 years experience in Planning field - Preferably Syspro experience
- Preferably steel service center experience
