How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Expertly welds small medium and large bore pipes of various metals and alloys. carbon steel and stainless steel pipes. Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction. 6G TIG (GTAW) & MIG (GMAW) with ASME/EN qualification for Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.
Reads and comprehends construction drawings/blueprint and specifications.
Lays out and installs piping equipment and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
Marks up construction drawings and specifications with asbuilt status.
Works with Project Engineers and Production Manager to order tools equipment supplies and materials necessary for the groups job requirements following company policy and process.
Works in conjunction with other departments and lead persons.
Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.
Follow all work related safety directions such as personal protective equipment (PPE).
Are you a MATCH
High school or GED required
Military schools vocational school recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
Current welding certifications (Recently expired certifications may be acceptable contingent upon the ability to successfully requalify prior to employment.
ASME certification is a huge benefit.
At least five 5 to ten 10 years of experience in a combination of two or more skilled trades including knowledge of and ability to use tools different materials and methods.
OSHAs 10hour safety course would be a plus.
The annual base pay rate range for this position in California is $29.00 $35.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/ training key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
