Position Summary
The Bar Captain is responsible for setting up executing and breaking down of all bar events providing leadership and guidance to staff and ensuring all banr services align with the events requirements.
This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00$23.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
- Maintains sanitation health and safety standards in work areas.
- Oversee Bar Operations: Ensure the bar runs smoothly in the absence of the manager.
- Staff Management: Supervise bartenders and bar backs ensuring they adhere to procedures and standards.
- Customer Service: Engage with guests to provide excellent service and handle any issues that arise.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and control beverage stocks ensuring efficient use of products.
- Training and Development: Train and coach bar staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and city alcohol laws and hotel service standards.
- Mixology: Create and recommend drink specials and ensure proper mixing and serving of beverages.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly positive attitude with coworkers managers volunteers & guests.
- Experience: At least one year of fulltime experience in a similar position preferably in a highvolume fastpaced environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership problemsolving and customer service skills.
- Education: Relevant degree or certifications in hospitality business or related fields.
- Flexibility: Ability to work shifts and adapt to lastminute changes.
