The Forward Operator is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle while delivering products to a diverse home patient base and assigned hospitals.
Youll be a fundamental partner in supporting our patients providing orders to designated hospitals performing site order counts and replenishing deliveries to Baxter accounts. Finally youll raise orders for each ward against set PAR levels and deliver IV fluids to selected areas.
Hours: Working hours will be 4 days x 10 hours shifts with a day off on a rota basis.
What youll bring to the role:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Literate to GCSC level
- Proven experience in Warehouse / Inventory environment
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office package and using an IPAD
- Keen to travel to various UK Sites
- Passionate about customer service
- Manual Handling
- Literate to GCSE Level
- Able to work within vulnerable adult and children environment after background check (CRB)
- A minimum of 1 year of driving comparable equipment with inside delivery experience is helpful.
What you will be doing:
- Complete inventory checks within each ward
- Check orders on arrivals and ensure they are in full raise any discrepancies with the inventory supervisor.
- Communicate PARlevel amendments as requested by the customer to the Managed Inventory Administrator
- Complete Expiry checks and log expired stock
- Report any damages to storage solutions in the hospital as part of the service.
- Complete mileage forms of hire vehicles and report any issue
- Confirm delivery arrival times
- Attend site audits if required
- Reconfigure wards if required
