Job Description
Job Title: Resorts Driver (Level 1)
Location: Bridport
Contract Type: Temporary
Salary: 12.65 per hour
Please note:
Start Date: Monday 7th April 2025
End Date: Sunday 28th September 2025
Rota: 4 days on 2 days off
Tasks
Safely operate council vehicles to collect and empty bins in designated resort areas.
Ensure the safe disposal of waste and debris according to council regulations.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the resort areas.
Adhere to all traffic laws council policies and safety protocols while driving.
Requirements
A valid UK driving license
Previous experience in a driving or waste collection role is desirable.
Knowledge of the West Bay and Lyme Regis areas is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work on a 4-day on 2-day off rotating shift pattern.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
