Ames National Laboratory is seeking applicants for an Executive Administrative Assistant within the Directors Office. This position will be responsible for performing proactive professionallevel support for the Ames Laboratory Director and Laboratory Executive Council. Responsibilities include drafting editing and sending communications on behalf of the Director communicating with DOE ISU and National Laboratory Directors Council supporting highlevel visits coordinating schedules and meetings maintaining records for the DOE contract and space management planning labwide events and administrative and travel support for the Director and Chief Operations Officer.
The successful candidate will be organized detailoriented and proactive to ensure necessary concurrence and timely completion under deadlines. This position requires excellent communication skills both written and oral and the ability to handle highlevel communications with necessary tact professionalism and sensitivity to confidentiality. The incumbent will possess the ability to effectively and professionally work with faculty staff students and external stakeholders within a team environment and work independently as needed for responsibilities. The ability to multitask and meet deadlines is critical for success in this position.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
