We are looking for an experienced and organizedTechnical Project Managerto manage and coordinate multiple projects for a leading Australian Bluechip company. This role involves working across various teams including Data Engineering Integration Support and Development with a team size of around 30. TheTechnical Project Managerwill report directly to theDelivery Directorand be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are tracked resources are effectively utilized and comprehensive reports are prepared for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Tracking & Delivery Management:
- Oversee the of multiple projects ensuring that project timelines milestones and deliverables are met.
- Ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives monitoring progress and addressing any issues proactively.
- Manage crossfunctional dependencies to ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
- Resource Utilization & Management:
- Track and optimize resource utilization across various teams ensuring that the team of around 30 is efficiently deployed on projects.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure effective resource allocation based on project priorities and timelines.
- Address any bottlenecks or challenges related to resource constraints that could impact project timelines.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular project status reports including progress risks resource allocation and upcoming deliverables to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain uptodate project documentation including timelines risks and deliverables.
- Generate comprehensive reports on project performance and resource utilization.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Data Engineering Integration Support and Development teams.
- Ensure clear alignment of project goals across all teams and resolve any crossteam dependencies or challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met across all teams.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify track and mitigate potential risks to ensure they do not impact project delivery.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of project issues to maintain the overall progress and quality of the projects.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices for project management team collaboration and resource allocation.
- Ensure that project tracking and reporting processes are optimized to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as aTechnical Project Manager managing multiple projects across various functions like Data Engineering Integration and Development.
- Strong understanding of.Net and opensource technologies.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies with the ability to manage a team of around 30 people across different disciplines.
- Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools such asJIRAMS Project andConfluence.
- Strong ability to manage crossfunctional dependencies and ensure timely project delivery.
